CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering to perform engineering for retrofitting steam supply system of LLC Sibur-Kstovo

CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering will perform engineering and survey for retrofitting the process steam boiler house of Sibur-Kstovo Company. The Company has entered into the relevant agreement with LLC Sibur-Kstovo (a member of SIBUR Holding). The upgraded boiler house will improve reliability of steam supply for the Company, and as a result, reliability of raw materials supply to SIBUR’s downstream production chain.

Retrofitting of the boiler house will consist in installation of new boiler equipment to replace the dismantled K2 boiler and its linkage to the existing infrastructure. Under the contract terms and conditions, OJSC SSE will perform comprehensive engineering surveys and inspections, including inspection of foundations and supporting structures of the boiler house building, identify the basic technical solutions, including review and evaluation of several options from among domestic and foreign suppliers of boiler equipment, develop design and estimate documentation and detailed design package for the selected option. The final step will include development of detailed documentation for a new boiler to be installed and data sheets for equipment.

LLC SIBUR-Kstovo is one of major enterprises within SIBUR Holding structure. It was founded in October, 2010, on the basis of the petrochemical plant OJSC Sibur-Neftekhim. The Company’s core business includes oil hydrocarbons pyrolysis, compression, pyrolysis gas separation, aromatic hydrocarbons production, energy generation and support of oil hydrocarbons pyrolysis, compression, and pyrolysis gas separation production units.
