Feasibility study of investment into installation of a power plant for the JCS “Tobolsk – Neftekhim”
A contract has been signed between the JSC “Tobolsk-Neftekhim” and the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” for performing the feasibility study of investments into installation of a backpressure steam-turbine power plant at the JSC “Tobolsk-Neftekhim”.
Within the framework of the contract, providing 3 stages of implementation, versions of the new backpressure steam-turbine power plant for reduction of pressure and temperature down to the parameters, needed in the technical enquiry, with additional 10 kV voltage energy production, with power delivery through the enterprise’s central power distribution center, will be elaborated. Then, versions of the configuration design of the backpressure steam-turbine power plant will have to be elaborated, as well as selection of main and auxiliary equipment, choice of the most effective variants by agreement with the Customer.

The JSC “Tobolsk-Neftekhim” is a modern enterprise, focused on hydrocarbon material processing — broad fraction of light hydrocarbons, including: production of liquefied gases: propane, isobutene, n-butane, isopentane, n-pentane, hexane; monomer production for the industry of synthetic rubber: butadiene, isobutylene; production of BTBE – high-octane additive to motor gasoline. Construction of a new plant of the central gas fractionation unit will allow to process additionally up to 2,8 million tons of broad fraction of light hydrocarbons per year.
