Grand Commissioning of Yakutskaya SDPP-2

On November 28, 2017, a grand ceremony took place for commissioning of the first stage of Yakutskaya SDPP-2 by RusHydro PJSC.

The first stage of Yakutskaya SDPP-2 will enable replacement of retired capacities of the functioning Yakutskaya SDPP, constructed in 1960s, and improvement of power supply reliability in the area. The new power plant will allow replacing part of inefficient boiler plants in Yakutsk.

Yakutskaya SDPP-2 is one of four thermal power plants, included in a grand investment project of RusHydro PJSC for construction of new power facilities in the Far East.
