Progress of monitoring of Yakutsk GRES-2 construction
Currently, works are underway on the upper construction site of Yakutsk GRES-2 aimed at installation of peak water-heating boilers and heat-recovery steam generators, and on the lower construction site, the HVAC building metal frame is being completed. CJSC SSE experts monitor implementation of works and control payments in the process of the project implementation until putting into operation.
Works are performed under the agreement for technical and price auditing and monitoring the CHPP construction progress, entered into between OJSC Sberbank of Russia and CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering in June, 2013.
Commissioning of the 1st stage of Yakutsk GRES-2 with the installed electric capacity of 194 MW and heat capacity of 470 Gcal/h, will allow to replace the exhausted capacity resource of the existing Yakutsk GRES. The new power facility will create a power reserve, increase the stability of energy supply to Yakutsk and surrounding areas.
