SWECO Soyuz Engineer will render services of Technical agent for construction of the Novobereznikovskaya CHP

A contract has been signed between the OJSC “TGC-9”, the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” and the State Concern “Vnesheconombank” for rendering services of Technical agent for construction of the Novobereznikovskaya CHP in Berezniki city (Perm Territory). The investor of the project is the State Concern “Vnesheconombank”, General contractor – the OJSC “E4 Group”.

 

The project of construction provides the installation of two monoblocs as part of two General Electric gas turbines model 6FA with 80 MW power each with two double-circuit heat recovery steam generators with a system of additional afterburning, produced by the OJSC “TKZ “Krasniy Kotelshik” and two steam turbines Ò-40/50-8,8 with 35 MW power each, produced by the OJSC “Ural Turbine Plant”. The installed electric power of the power plant will be 230 MW, heat power – 210 Gcal/h.

 

Within the framework of the agreement the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” will perform expert evaluation and approval of the developed detailed design documentation and technical documentation for the equipment, control over deadlines and quality of production of main equipment, provide compliance with occupational safety and safety procedures in the course of the work of the general contractor at the facility, control over compliance by the general contractor with the requirements of the environmental legislation, approval of test programs, supervision over the schedule of execution of works under the project.  

 

The Novobereznikovskaya CHP is being constructed within the framework of implementation of the investment program of KES Holding. The purpose of construction is the replacement of capacities of the Bereznikovskaya CHP-4 and the Bereznikovskaya CHP-10 due to wear and tear and obsolescence of uncompetitive capacities, with further decommissioning of these power plants. The new power plant will allow to improve reliability of heat and power supply of the second biggest city of the Perm Territory – Berezniki, to eliminate power shortage at the Solikamsk- Berezniki power center. Commissioning of the facility is planned for 2015.
