SWECO SOYUZ Engineering confirmed compliance of Quality Management System with ISO 9001
On August 14, CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering (CJSC SSE) completed the certification audit of the Company Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance with ISO 9001:2008. Following the results of the QMS audit, CJSC SSE was recognized as consistent with the standard requirements.
The Company was audited by the team of auditors from the international certification body Bureau Veritas Certification in the main Company areas. The approved certification area is as follows: «Pre-design study (pre-investment feasibility study). Engineering and authorial supervision of project implementation. Engineering advisory services in the energy sector, infrastructure, industry and civil engineering. Technical and environmental audit of projects. Technological and price audit. Technical support of construction and reconstruction facilities”.
No inconsistencies or remarks were identified based on the audit results. The auditors prepared a report specifically showing the system strengths, including managerial leadership and responsibility, high level competence of persons in charge of processes at CJSC SSE. The auditors also issued recommendations to allow further improvement of the management system.
The certificate validity period is three years with the supervisory audit to be performed annually based on a special technique and charts generated by Bureau Veritas Certification. The initial certification of CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering Quality Management System was undertaken in 2009 within the Holding’s QMS, the first re-certification was performed in 2012. In 2015, it was decided to develop and implement an independent Quality Management System.
