SWECO SOYUZ Engineering obtained Positive Opinion of Yargosstroyekspertiza on GTU-CCPP construction project for LLC Mayak-Energiya

CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering (CJSC SSE) has obtained a Positive Opinion of the State Autonomous Agency of Yaroslav Region (SAA YR) Yargosstroyekspertiza on the design documentation and engineering survey for the combined cycle power plant project on the industrial site of OJSC Mayak (City of Penza).

The CCPP with the installed electrical capacity of 23.8 MW and heat capacity of 35.9 Gcal/h is intended to provide heat and electric power to process consumers of OJSC Mayak. Natural gas will be used as the primary fuel supplied from the gas pipeline ring system of the City of Penza. The main power plant equipment installed will include three SGT-300 gas turbine units manufactured by Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB with the rated capacity of 7.5 MW and three E-20-0,8-170 heat-recovery steam generators (HRSG) manufactured by OJSC EMAlyans.

Currently, CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering starts to develop the detailed design package for the power plant.

OJSC Mayak, the oldest Russian paper producing company, was founded in 1850. The Company’s focus is manufacture and sale of such products as paper for corrugating, cardboards for flat layers of corrugated cardboard, paper base for wallpaper , writing paper, chart paper, paper base for inner layer of paper-based laminates.
