SWECO SOYUZ Engineering to develop pre-investment feasibility study for reconstruction of power utilities at plywood and particleboard mills

CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering (CJSC SSE) will develop a pre-investment feasibility study for reconstruction of power utilities for LLC SVEZA Ural’skiy (Perm Region) including construction of a mini-heat power station (mini-HPS). The company has entered into a relevant agreement with LLC SVEZA Ural’skiy.

Under the contract terms and conditions, CJSC SSE specialists will perform a comparative analysis of at least 5 layout options for the main boiler equipment (boilers, turbines) followed by justification of the selected solution. For each option under consideration, thermal and electrical diagrams will be elaborated and basic HPS performances calculated in 2025 perspective. Technical solutions will be also developed for the main and auxiliary systems, architectural and planning solutions, preliminary HPS project schedule, and environmental assessment performed. The Company will carry out the economic evaluation of effectiveness of the investment project, and project cost estimate with due account for all necessary expenses.

LLC SVEZA Ural’skiy is a company belonging to SVEZA Group being a global leader in birch plywood production. The mills capacity is 217,000 m3 of plywood per year, and 211,500 m3 of particleboard per year.
