SWECO SOYUZ Engineering to perform technological and price expert examination of off-site linear facilities of Combined Heat Power Plant under construction in Sovetskaya Gavan

In January, 2016, CJSC SWECO SOYUZ Engineering (CJSC SSE) and PJSC RAO ES East have entered into an agreement for technological and price expert examination of off-site linear facilities of the combined heat and power plant (CHPP) under construction in the City of Sovetskaya Gavan.

Under the contract terms and conditions, CJSC SSE specialists will examine the electric power output chart, heat power output chart, non-common use access railways of the CHPP. Such work will comprise the Project financial-economic and expert-engineering evaluation and identification of the main Project risks.

The services will result in the Expert Opinion based on the results of examination including development of proposals aimed at the Project optimization in order to reduce construction costs, operating costs at the operation stage, construction period, as well as preparation of the opinion on conformity of the Project price based on the design documentation developed to the market prices.

The new CHPP in Sovetskaya Gavan with the installed electrical power capacity of 120 MW is of strategic importance for the Port Special Economic Zone under development in the region, which anticipates construction of a multi-functional port and ship-repairing center, container and coal terminals, as well as fish and seafood processing facilities.
