The CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” will perform audit of construction of the Yakutskaya SDPP-2

In the beginning of June, 2013 the OJSC “Sberbank of Russia” (the Bank) and the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” (CJSC “SSE”) signed a contract for rendering services of Process and price audit and monitoring the process of construction of the Yakutskaya SDPP-2 (Republic of Sakha, Yakutsk city).

The execution of Process and price audit is intended for the elaboration of proposals on improvement of the effectiveness of the project of construction of the SDPP. Within the framework of the audit the specialists of the CJSC “SSE” will have to perform expert review of the processes of construction management, including financial and economic evaluation, identification of the main risks of the construction project, elaboration of proposals on project optimization with the purpose of cost cutting at the stages of construction and operation. 
 
In the period before commissioning of the facility the specialists of the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” will perform monitoring and control of the following: the effectiveness of cooperation between the Customer and contracting organizations – suppliers of goods and services; the execution of the consolidated work schedule of SDPP construction; the availability and sufficiency of the entitling and initial permissive documentation; timeliness and completeness of detailed design; deliveries of main and auxiliary equipment; the course of construction, erection and startup works, etc.
 
Commissioning of the first stage of the Yakutskaya SDPP-2 with installed heat power 460 Gcal/h, electric power 170 MW will allow replacement of the capacities of the operating Yakutskaya SDPP to be decommissioned, which service life has almost expired. The new power facility will create a power reserve, will increase the stability of power supply of Yakutsk and the neighboring areas. Currently designing of the power plant is under way. The completion of construction is planned for 2015.
