The CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” will perform the feasibility study of construction of the CHP-17 in Stupino

A contract has been signed between the OJSC “Mosenergo” and the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” for development of the feasibility study of construction and technical upgrading of the CHP-17 – OJSC “Mosenergo” branch.

Four variants of construction will be considered:

• Construction of minimum two CCGT units;
• Construction of minimum two turbo-generator sets;
• Construction of minimum two combined cycle gas turbine power plants;
• Shut-down of the power plant and construction of a boiler.

The construction will be performed on conditions of the operating power plant, working on dispatch schedule without heat and electric power limitation, within the existing industrial site. The completion of works under the contract is planned for September, 2011.

The combined heat and power plant No. 17 (CHP-17 of the OJSC “Mosenergo”) is a power industry enterprise, located in Stupino city, Moscow region, 100 km south of Moscow. It is part of the generating company OJSC “Mosenergo”. Installed electric power – 192 MW, installed heat power – 712 Gcal/h. The economic life of the main equipment is exceeded by 1,3-1,4 times.
