The CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” will render services of Technical agent for the reconstruction of the Izhevskaya CHP-1
A contract was signed between the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” and the OJSC “Territorial Generating Company No. 5” for rendering services of Technical agent of reconstruction of the Ijevskaya CHP-1 (Ijevsk city). The investor of the project is the state company “Bank for Foreign Economic Activity”. General Contractor – OJSC “E4 Group”.
The project of reconstruction provides the construction of a single block 230 MW CCGT unit on the basis of the gas-turbine unit ÃÒÝ-160, steam cogeneration turbine, double-pressure waste heat recovery boiler. The installed electric power of the power unit will be 230 MW, heat power – 160 Gcal/h.
The Ijevskaya CHP-1 is the oldest power plant in Udmurtia, it was put into operation in 1934. It is designed for providing combined generation of electricity and heat for the needs of the housing and utilities sector and the enterprises of the industrial area. The CHP provides heat and hot water for more than 200 thousand citizen in the central districts of Ijevsk. The electric power after reconstruction shall constitute about 300 MW, heat power – about 715 Gcal/h.
Power certification of the facility is to be performed by May, 2014.
