The Company “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” has accomplished works at the CHP-26

The SOYUZ Holding subsidiary — CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” has successfully accomplished performing the functions of the OJSC “Mosenergo” technical agent during the construction of the combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT unit) 420 MW at the CHP 26.

In the course of contract fulfillment the branch of the CJSC “SWECO Soyuz Engineering” (project leader – A. Tyushkin) has performed the following tasks:

• Checking the design and technical documentation, developed by the Contractors.
• Verification of compliance with the deadlines and schedules of work, delivery of equipment and materials.
• Supervision over construction, erection, startup and other types of work.

The main equipment of the CCGT unit 420 MW includes:

• Gas turbine type GT-26 (ALSTOM, Switzerland) with a synchronous generator (ALSTOM, Switzerland);
• Heat recovery steam generator, three flow, for operation en-block with the GT-26 (ALSTOM, Switzerland);
• Steam turbine (ALSTOM, Switzerland).

Main characteristics of the CCGT unit 420 MW in conditions of the CHP-26:

• Electric power – 420 MW;
• Heat power – 265 MW;

The general contractor of the OJSC “Mosenergo” for construction of the unit No. 8 of the CCGT unit 420 MW of the CHP-26 is a Consortium, consisting of the Company “ALSTOM Ltd”, Switzerland, JSC “ALSTOM”, Russia (leader), OJSC “EM-Alliance”, Russia.

The CHP-26 “Yujnaya”, branch of the OJSC “Mosenergo” (TGK-3) is a power industry enterprise of the Moscow power network. The CHP was put into operation on the 30th of March, 1979. The CHP provides heat and power supply of industrial enterprises, public and residential buildings of the south of Moscow and the Moscow region with population about 1,5 million people.
